Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Lightesthetics. We hope you are satisfied with your purchase. However, if for any reason you are not completely happy, we’re here to help.

Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 calendar days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition.

  • The item must be in its original packaging with all tags intact and no signs of use.

  • Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order number) is required.

To initiate a return, please email us at info@lightesthetics.com with your order number and reason for return. Returns must be requested and approved before sending. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.

⚠️ Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is defective or incorrect. Return shipping costs are non-refundable, even if the return is accepted.

📦 Lost or Damaged Returns: We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. We may reject returns that arrive damaged due to improper packaging.

📹 Proof of Condition: We require unboxing videos showing the item’s condition upon receipt, especially in cases of damaged or incorrect items. Without proof, we will reject your return.

🔁 Return Inspection: Items returned that do not meet the above conditions may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%, depending on the condition of the product. Products with visible signs of use, damage, or missing packaging will not be accepted.

🧩 Partial Returns: Returns of product bundles or sets must include all items in the bundle. Partial returns of bundles will not be accepted and will be sent back at the customer’s expense.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for the following items:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, plants)

  • Personalized or custom-made products

  • Personal care items (e.g., cosmetics, beauty products)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Final sale items or gift cards

  • Items that have been opened, used, or altered by the customer (including testing of the product)

🚫 Returns based on personal preference (e.g., brightness, color, size) are not eligible, unless the product is defective or incorrect.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photo or video proof of the issue at info@lightesthetics.com.

📸 Claims made after 48 hours of delivery will be rejected, regardless of the reason.

We will evaluate the issue and send you a replacement, store credit, or refund where applicable.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to receive the item you want is to:

  1. Request a return for your current item

  2. Once approved, place a new order for the desired product.

European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, no questions asked, under the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

Right of Withdrawal – Switzerland

Under Swiss law, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, we offer a voluntary return option within 7 days after receiving your item. Please contact us before sending anything back. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.

Right of Withdrawal – International Customers

For customers outside the EU and Switzerland, there is no automatic right of withdrawal. However, we may allow returns upon request within 7 days after delivery, on a case-by-case basis. Shipping and return costs are fully borne by the customer. Returns that do not meet the above conditions will be rejected.

Exclusions from Return

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Customized or personalized items

  • Hygiene or opened products (e.g., beauty items, health-related products)

  • Items that have been used, worn, damaged, or altered by the customer

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to your original payment method.

🕒 If 15 business days have passed since your return approval and you have not received a refund, please contact us at info@lightesthetics.com.

⚠️ Non-refundable transaction fees (e.g., PayPal, credit card processing) will be deducted from the refund amount, unless the return is due to an error on our part.

🚚 Original shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable, unless the item was defective or shipped incorrectly.

Store Credit & Vouchers (Optional)

In some cases, we may offer store credit or discount vouchers instead of a refund. This can be used toward a future purchase on our website.

Return Policy Abuse

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse returns from customers with a high return rate or suspected misuse.

  • Reject items that appear worn, damaged, or manipulated.

  • Cancel future orders if return abuse is suspected or detected.

Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for entering a correct and complete shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address due to customer error.
